Bringing together undergraduate and postgraduate students, the DkIT Ceol Oirghialla Traditional Music Ensemble under the direction of Dr Daithí Kearney draws inspiration from a variety of Irish traditional music groups, exploring possibilities of arrangement and inspiration with respect for both tradition and possibility. The Traditional Ensemble brings Irish traditional music to the heart of college life and each semester develops a concert on a chosen theme, as demonstrated here in the programmes created by Daithí and Adèle.
