A Louth Lilt

The launch of our album of new compositions on Thursday 8 June in Dundalk was a wonderful occasion that we will treasure, largely because of the presence of so many friends and family. Reflecting on the night illustrates the relevance of the Creative Ireland programme and the five pillars that have been identified. With preparations well underway for the launch of A Louth Lilt, we have also been enjoying and involved in many other musical events.

The launch date has been announced! A Louth Lilt will be officially launched by Nicholas Carolan, former Director of the Irish Traditional Music Archive, in the Fr McNally Recital Room, Dundalk Institute of Technology at 7pm on Thursday 8 June 2017. Our evening will also include the premiere of a documentary produced by some of our students at Dundalk Institute of Technology for a Summer Undergraduate Research Project last summer.
